Extras, protection & fees
Offer add-ons, protection (CDW) plans, delivery and one-way rentals, and a young-driver fee — all picked at checkout and priced into the booking.
Beyond the daily rate, you can offer optional add-ons and fees that the customer picks at checkout. Each is added to the price automatically.
Extras
In Settings → Extras, Add extra for any add-on (child seat, GPS, additional driver…). Set a name, an optional description, and whether it’s charged Per day or One-time. Extras can be toggled on or off; turning one off hides it from new bookings but keeps it on past ones.
Protection plans (CDW)
In Settings → Pricing → Protection plans, Add plan with a name, a per-day price, and an optional deposit override. The renter picks one plan at checkout (or declines to use their own insurance). A plan’s deposit override replaces the vehicle’s default security hold — so a premium plan can lower the hold to zero.
Delivery & one-way rentals
Also in Settings → Pricing:
- Delivery options — add a named option with a one-time fee; tick with driver for a chauffeured service.
- One-way rentals — turn on a different drop-off location and set a flat one-way fee (you need at least two locations). The fee applies when the return location differs from pick-up.
Young-driver fee
In Settings → Pricing, set a young-driver max age and a flat fee. When a renter’s age is at or under that threshold, the fee is added automatically. Set the age to 0 to switch it off.
